WXPN’s weekly special summer “Throwback Thursday” series has returned after a couple of years. #TBTXPN happens every Thursday from 6am-8pm Philly time through the end of August. The concept for TBT is pretty basic: We spend a full day on a specific year or musical theme.

We kicked off the season with 14 hours of songs released in 1975. This past week we played cover songs, a little under 200 of them culled from our massive cover song library. About 20 of the songs we played are not on any of the streaming services - however here’s a playlist of 170 of ‘em we did play.
